Body wraps

Clay body wraps offer fantastic therapeutic and cosmetic benefits. Clay body wraps improve circulation, absorb and draw out toxins, reduce inflammations, relieve muscle and joint pains, aid for weight loss, tone, tighten, and refine the skin, treat cellulite. Clay body wraps also have a wonderful effect of helping relieve stress.

General Clay Body Wrap Recipe:
  • Mix equal parts of clay and water in a ceramic or wood bowl, with your fingers or ceramic or wooden spoon (no metal!). You can modify your clay body wrap recipe by:
- adding sea salt or seaweed;
- using green or herbal tea (chamomile, calendula, lavender, peppermint, etc.) instead of water;
- adding 2-4 tsp of your favorite carrier oils: sweet almond, jojoba, hemp, avocado, sunflower, grapeseed, wheatgerm oli,etc.;
- adding 2-4 drops of your favorite essential oils: lavender, rose, chamomile, orange, sage, ylang-ylang essential oil, etc.
  • Warm your room, light candles, burn essential oils, and play calming music.
  • Layer your blankets: a warm blanket, a space blanket or sheet (optional), then a plastic sheet.
  • Dry brush your skin, working in small circular motions.
  • Have a warm shower to help open your pores.
  • Drink lots of water or herbal tea to help flush out toxins.
  • Apply the body wrap mixture to your body.
  • Snuggle into the plastic covered blanket for 30-60 minutes.
  • Take a warm shower.
  • Enjoy the new revitalized you!
  • For the best results you will need to do body wraps weekly for 1-2 months.
Anti-Cellulite Clay Body Wrap Recipe - Gray Illite:
  • 8 tbsp (4 oz ) of Gray Illite clay
  • 3 tbsp of sea salt
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • 2-3 drops of orange, lemon, grapefruit, juniper, peppermint, geranium, or cinnamon essential oils
  • 1 cup of water or green tea
Clay Body Wrap for Wight Loss Recipe - Black Kaolin:
  • 8 tbsp (4 oz) of Black Kaolin clay
  • 3 tbsp of seaweed powder
  • 2-3 of drops of orange, lemon, grapefruit or cinnamon essential oils
  • 1 cup of water, green or herbal tea (fennel or horsetail)
Clay Body Wrap for Stretch Marks Recipe - Green Bentonite:
  • 8 tbsp (4 oz) of Green Bentonite clay
  • 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1 cup of water
Clay Bady Wrap for Sensitive and Aging Skin Recipe White Kaolin:
  • 8 tbsp (4 oz) of White Kaolin clay
  • 1 tbsp of your favorite carrier oil
  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • 1 cup of water or herbal tea (chamomile or calendula)
